Programs: "Fun and Fundamentals" House League
York South Silver Knights Basketball - Richmond Hill Markham York Region Unionville Club prides itself in offering a superior level of skill development at all program levels. All our programs, including our house leagues, are directed and coached by certified OBA instructors.
No parental volunteers are involved in coaching our house league teams, as we hire select passionate Sr. High school rep players and university students to coach our teams.
All of our 2 hours sessions for both junior and intermediate house league basketball are comprised of 45 minutes of direct basketball instruction, followed by a house league game. It is in this manner that participants who have never played the game in a semi-competitive atmosphere are exposed to the correct manner and foundation skills in which to play this wonderful game called basketball. Each season culminates with a championship tournament, where trophies and awards are given.
